They may need more snow. When I was there, there were shallow snow hazards.
I'm guessing here but normally the night skiing is a food drive for the food bank. They have a lot of people and volunteers helping which may be hard to do while social distancing. Also, they only open a portion of the mountain for night skiing which makes it hard to stay 6 feet apart.
Probably because of Covid or not enough people wearing masks.
