Safeway is 16 yrs old for certain areas of the store very limited to positions that do not involve alcohol or tabacco sales etc most positions are 18 to 21 and also 16 and 17 yr olds have limited hours allowed to work due to curfew laws in Oregon and child labor laws hope this info helps you and good luck to you in you're new job or career journey
