We paid for anyone who skated at our sons birthday party.
To my way of thinking, if you're invited to a party, the person who invited you is probably paying a fee for the time of the party. If it's a private party like invited only permitted. If it's a group like let's say a church organization that is having the party, they the organization may be asking for you to pay a fee. Just depends on who's having the party. Your best bet would be to ask the person who invited you if there's a charge to get in.
