I left there today and wasn't very concerned with if I'm able to get "smokeable" or not.. if I didn't ask for it I probably don't have it, would this be a correct assumption? not a big concern just curious

Inhalation is the easiest intake method to titrate (dose) which is an advantage for some patients. Whether it is vape or smoking the dry bud. Due to the vape warnings and news many patients prefer smokeable over vape since there is often an oil carrier in vape products which is of concern. It is important to know that dry bud can also be vaped. Patients often prefer smokeable as they can rest assured there are no added ingredients, and nothing stripped from the natural plant, such as terpenes and terpenoids. It is important to note that we have many patients who have access to flower and make their own tincture and edibles etc from the dry flower, and do not smoke it. They only vape the dry flower or use it for edibles and tinctures. All of our physicians do enter orders for smokeable unless there is a concern over lung issues. The DOH just recently released guidelines for edibles which are not available at this time in Florida from the dispensaries.

I can only get what my doctor prescribes. I can’t get smokables or edibles unless he updates my prescription. The doctor’s assistant who updates scripts is no longer there. I need to find another doctor. I think min is getting to retire.

Not to sure, but ik that I paid extra for smokeables and also had to pay for the edibles and etc.. so I'd assume yes you do have to tell them if you want it. But I would imagine you can go back to their office and update your prescription.

You should be albe to get the smokeable. When they send you the email that you have to fill out and send to the state for approval you'll be able to see your prescription. Just received my license today so i haven't been to the dispensary yet but someone i know told me you can get what you want when you go there with your card. Hope this helps
