I work here , we do not take call in orders after a certain time due to customers not coming to get their food. During the late night hours (on weekends when we’re busy) we will close the shop the clean up because there are only two people working a store full of 20+ people. Customers will disrespect us and expect to be serviced, it is a company policy that we can deny service to anyone who disrespects us in any manor. Some customers treat us badly and speak to us like they have no sense and expect great expectations. We are humans too , with feelings and children, please don’t come out and see that we are busy then treat us poorly. I am sorry to anyone whose experience was bad on a Friday night when it was packed, as previously mentioned, there are only TWO of us working at night and it’s very hard for us to keep up with all these people especially when we’re getting yelled at , cat called, and pulled at.
@Nanii. I totally agree, and it's bull people treat people in the food industry like garbage.. I haven't worked it, but I totally understand how you all feel. Why I try to be courteous and respectful, unless said waiter or waitress decides to be a dunce to the table. We are guests in an establishment, and need to behave. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand a place is busy and give people whom work there some slack. Why I have the manors to try to clean up my table so staff doesn't have to take time to clean it up as much. Nanii, all workers in sit down restaurants deserve better. It's stressful, you don't get paid enough for the stuff you are put through, and a lot of customers don't understand or are total trash.
