We use over a pound of real Northwest fruit in every bottle so it is an all natural product, that is why we recommend storing your bottle in the fridge or freezer once opening. It is important to keep the product fresh. If you do not store your bottle this way it will change over time.
I keep all of my vodkas in the freezer.
I had a bottle that I didn't refrigerate for a few months and it tasted just fine but it got a bit syrupy. I believe it was the huckleberry. The alcohol does a pretty good job of preserving it.
