I can often find parking here and walk over: https://maps.google.com/?q=37.766329,-122.458519 It can be difficult, though. Sometimes easiest to park in a neighborhood and walk a few blocks.
Yes, there is parking newr the playground, but parking in general is usually hard to find an opening.
