The museum has the cockpit of an F-8 Crusader, a Vietnam era fighter that you can sit in. It is only the cockpit, and not the entire airplane. We do hae one that's currently being restored in hanger bay 3. Be aware also that on some dates that cockpit is out in the community for citizens to enjoy. Call ahead and ask if it's aboard for you to experience.
There is a fighter cockpit setup to sit in, I believe it is an F-8 Crusader mockup.
They had the front end of a plane that kids were able to get into for photos.
