You can bring a backpack, you put the gear on first and then the backpack over the gear. We also have a bin to store your gear until the end of the tour. Thank you for asking!
They also ask if you anything you want to keep safe which they will take and give back at the end.
You CAN wear a very flat and small backpack but it is worn under the gear. You won’t be able to access it at all so may as well leave in your car. Better to have zippered pockets on your pants or jacket.
