If you're planning on driving to the location you may have to park far. The parking lot is closed and there are new "no parking" signs.
We hiked the Appalachian trail south to north with Bulls Bridge being our turn around point. Everything around seemed to be open in the immediate area of the bridge. There were some closed signs for a trail that was heading north. Looked to be construction related. There's plenty of spots to check out the river though.
