It's first come, first serve. Even when they are busy there is hardly any wait time. I don't mind going when it's busy, their wait staff is really on it, very fast. Also, the few hot dishes, are hot during the busy time, when if you go when it's not so busy they are room temp. Also when it's busy they usually have a bigger variety of sushi than when it's slow. Keep in mind you can always ask for your favorite from the wait staff if it's not on the belt, and they will bring it to you. Weekends are busier than weekdays.
