I want to bike further south beyond the 1.5 mile promenade path. What is the road conditions on Ocean Vista way and further south on Sunset Blvd... Is there heavy traffic, is there a bike lane, what about elevation and hills. have 20 gear hybrid bike

Hi Irv, Both streets you are talking about are local residential streets, primarily. Sunset Blvd does have a uphill grade to the parking lot for the hiking trail over Tillamook Head but that is where it deadends and there are no further bike paths. If you are looking for a longer paved ride, we would suggest using Lewis & Clark Rd going north towards Astoria. Our local chamber/visitor center website has some of these rides listed.
