Walmart has pretty much become a self-service store. Even if you do find someone with that blue smock with the words "How may I help you?" they are either on a break, don't work in that department, or just point to where they want you to go, which is, basically, away from them. You're on your own.
Ever since Sam Walton died walmart has gone down hill alot even the one in Wesley Chapel employees are rude, most of the time they stand around and gossip rather than help. There are few a exceptions like older employees are usually very polite and helpful. I used to work in human resources for Wal-Mart and it wasn't like it is today. They used to have 2 people for every department and a minimum of 5 registers open at all times. Now your lunch to get 1 or 2 at best. Target may cost a bit more but at least what you ask me assistance you get it.
There trying to make everything automated. So they hardly hire anybody.
Next time you have that problem ask go up to the front and ask for a CSM to page someone for you or go to the fitting room to have someone paged. Usually when I'm not working that's what I do
I didn't need any assistance when I went in the store. So I can't tell you about the experience not having any help
Unorganized and unprofessional
Being at the right place at the right time is going to be very helpful all Walmart's if they are 24 hours open then there will be a person who will attend to your needs.
