Does anyone know how to open the wine bottle. It has a lid on it that won't allow a corkscrew through

Hi Phillip! It sounds like you may have one of our Asha or Delara pinot noir bottles in hand which comes enclosed with a glass cork. The black foil cap can be loosened by lightly working it side to side. After it is loosened, a quick pull-up reveals the glass cork underneath the foil. From there, we use our thumb to push up on the lip of the glass cork and open the bottle. If you have any trouble, please feel free to give us a call at the winery at 503-843-1234 and we would be happy to assist! Fun fact: The glass corks can be re-used as wine stoppers in any bottles that are either glass cork or cork enclosed!

Some of their bottles have screw tops, some bottles have a glass stopper that you can just pull out.
