I've been volunteering here for more than a year, and I've never heard of any cut-off. But, like Shannon said, we are limited on occasion by the number of volunteer providers and/or staff. This is why we always recommend that you arrive early during operating hours.
Due to the volunteer status, they only take as many people as they have doctors. Most days it is 10 to 15 but if there are enough doctors, they can take closer to 30. Every doctor, NP, MA and CNA is a volunteer and recieves no compensation for working that day. All the specialists and pharmacy staff as volunteers as well. To ensure the best care for the patients being seen and the hours available from the doctors, they kimit who they can see each day.
