It is a no-kill in the sense that they will not put an animal down because they are out of space. However, it is different from a no-kill shelter because we take animals that a no-kill shelter will not. For example, if you have a pet that's terminally ill or has bitten someone a no-kill shelter will not take that animal. We will. The only times animals get put down is if they are extremely sick and our vet staff has done everything possible for the animal and it hasn't worked and they are suffering or if an animal is behaviorally unsafe to the community and can not be broken of that behavior.
Corryn Doll gave a 100% correct answer! Read what she put she is being completely real no lies. They do so much to save all they can! I for 1 thank you for the hard work and they do this with little to no profits!
Lies this is a kill shelter..they even have a list on the wall of the adoption center.. all the cats being euthanized. Stop lying saying you only the sick ones.
Humane Society is a NO KILL.. SPCA not so much..😡
They do not consider themselves no kill. However you can Google no kill shelters, there are several.
Are the dogs heathy
That is right. It is a no kill.
I brought a litter of kittens i found and was told the animals will always have a home there as long as they are adoptable. This meaning they are vicious or have major a health problem that prevents a good quality of life.
Read the reports they do kill, reports are on their website. So far this year they have put down 149 animals in shelter care, usually is due to health or behavior.
