No you can't. These animals were rescued from places that allowed that which really is considered abuse. This is a zero contact facility. However you do have opportunity to feed the animals and it's a very rewarding experience to see how far these animals have come after being rescued. The people that work there and the director are totally dedicated to the animals welfare.
No, there is no holding or petting of the animals there. That would defeat the purpose of this sanctuary and its mission. A lot of these animals were saved from situations where they were exploited, drugged, and forced to interact with humans, some of who would abuse them.
Absolutely no handling. And once you see them you'll understand why. These are rescued animals, pretty big to huge in size. Tigers, lions, bears, panthers, leopards, cougars are not meant for handling. But let me say this place is well worth the visit!!! They do Offer an opportunity to feed an animal of your choice for a fee. My daughter fed a beautiful white tiger using a long feeding pole. A terrific experience in all cases!
Not if you want to live and tell about it.
Maybe if you do a different package but I don't think so. We were able to feed them which was pretty cool.
