I'm a mother of 4 with a sick husband. I called them last year and I told them we are a family of 6 they said oh we are sorry but that's to many people. Dhe said that 5 of us can come um no it's all or none I'm not splitting my family up.

They actually do take bigger families. Just keep calling. They have to have two rooms available next to each other. Its rare but, could happen

Unfortunately I have found it to be hard to find shelter with bigger number families. some shelters how have enough room for x amount.
