This is Dr. Paresh H. Shelat and I am both a naturopathic primary care physician and licensed acupuncturist at Pohala Clinic. As many people know, chronic pain is multifactorial and needs to be addressed from many different angles. My work involves helping patients understand pain and what it means to have pain. I utilize many different treatments that include acupuncture, physical medicine, supplements, nutrition, and medications when appropriate.

I am Julie Foster NP. Myself and our team work with acute and chronic pain, utilizing natural approaches and medication management when it is deemed necessary. Malia Susee offer acupuncture. Our NDs Dr. Del Alba and Dr. Shelat offer an unique approach and are often see by those where nothing else has worked. Dr. Shelat also can provide spinal adjustments and acupuncture. We also have medical massage offered by Tiki Jones. Benjamin Bell is an advanced Cranial Sacral Therapist, which is great for traumatic brain injuries and chronic pain. Overall we can coordinate referral to PT and appropriate specialists when necessary.
