Our ward has temple cleaning assignments this week. Do volunteers who show up to clean, have to wear church clothes, or can they come dressed in clothes that they will be cleaning in?

The Ward representative tells you if your assignment is inside or outside depending on whether you have a recommend or not. Outside is casual closes only. Inside is usually business casual not Sunday dress.

Wear church clothes, they provide white scrubs for you to wear while you clean. You can bring clean tennis shoes or temple slippers to wear while cleaning or just wear socks.
