I would definitely make reservations. Especially on weekends.
I've never needed any, except for holidays (two people). They do take reservations, if you prefer.
Reservations help the staff accomodate for your party, hopefully it's not too busy

I have not made a reservation here, I usually just show up, but it can get busy so if you want to be assured a seat it is not a bad idea. They do take reservations.
For upscale dining during busy times i recommend a reservation, especially if you have a party of 4 or more.
When I visited, I was able to be seated without reservation. I was told they recommend a reservation to be safe.
You can make reservations, or, take your chances....the bar is always a good choice!
Scott's is very popular, so I'd recommend making reservations for dinner on busy nights. Not sure about lunch tho. Seating in the bar is fc-fs, and they do serve food in there.
