If you come into the restaurant how long do you need to stand there to be seated even when they are not very busy

They are slow

I have waited a few seconds to seat myself up to 5 minutes even when they're not busy. It's better to just sit yourself and hope someone notices you

It can take a few minutes--there's no one specifically assigned to seat customers, so you can either wait for someone to seat you, or grab a menu and seat yourself

Sometimes it can take several minutes for the staff to notice you.
