Connor, Our energy limit is 1 joule or roughly 330 fps with .20 bb. Our bb weight limit is .20 grams. Safety is our primary concern at TAC, with over 15,000 individual players, playing over 100,000 times in the last 10 years we have a little experience in the field. We appreciate your position but we will not be allowing bbs heavier than .20. We have been in the business of indoor airsoft for 10 years and we have determined that .20 bbs are safer for indoor play We appreciate that you disagree but there is no room for debate on our rules. If you do not follow them, you are not allowed to play. Thanks for your question. Hopefully we have answered it for you.
Connor there are many reasons we do this. first off it keeps ammo prices low for the customer. Secondly it’s for safety a .2 slows down much faster than heavier bbs. We have no minimum engagement and we allow full auto. Thirdly The field limit is .2 for everyone so the chrono readings are correct with no joule creep. Also I’m not sure where you get your .2s but ours fly straight.
They use only that specific weight to ensure the performance of the airsoft guns stays fairly similar to one another.
