Plato's charges around 75% off of the retail value (what you paid for the item) and gives you a third in cash of what they will charge for the item. Since most items are used they are no longer worth the amount you paid when it was brand new. If the item is brand new with tags attached they do take that into consideration and give more cash for it. They give more than any other resaler in the area and cash in your pocket is always nice. Stop by the store with the item you are wanting to sell and they will let you know if they can take it and for how much.
to be honest the people that work there are not that nice and they don't give you good deals
Platos closet is like a Pawn shop in that they will undercut you to a point of being offensive. My sister took in a bag of designer clothes valued at well over $200 and they gave her $80.
