It doesn't sell animals
The humane society adopts animals out from their shelter in auburn - which is a different locations. They never sell animals and only charge a small adoption fee to help cover the care of the animal. All animals have veterinary care and free follow-up for a short time. The thrift store helps raise funds to support the shelter and care of the animals it takes in and adopts out.
