Senior ticket prices for ages 60 and over.

I am 69 & my husband is 84 & twice in the last few months, I have been asked if I had any idea what the senior age was by the ticket person when I asked for senior tickets-I do think if it's going to be that rude of a question, it would simply be easier to ask for confirmation ID-both times the person was very rude-
