Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. They were very bossy when I was trying to deliver my son. One nurse yelled at me for the way I was pushing. While I was pushing they were asking if a male doctor could help. They wouldn't tell me what he was going to be helping with. The nurses seemed annoyed that my fiance wanted to give my son his first bath. Then they made me sit in the delivery room for an extra 2 hours because they didn't have an extra recovery room for me (and charged me for the "delivery room" which is more expensive than the recovery room. They never brought me my ibuprofen I asked for. They charged me for "nursery room" I never used it. But "it was avaliable for me to use" so that's why I was charged another thousand. And they charged me for a level 4 high risk delivery just because I showed up too late to be hooked up to a dumb monitor. Overall.....rude nurses and they will charge you for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING they possibly can. I will never go to thus hospital again.
I did have a very great exsperience at capital medical center . someone checking on you every five minutes asking how your feeling if you need anything and post birth so amazing . ( and they have a jetted tub . they do prefer to help you themselves so you dont get hurt . just all in all amazing and i had no wait time
I had a negative experience there and developed infection.
Never had any kids born there
Both my children were born at St Peters (Providence). I had good experiences but it was in the late 80s. Things always changing... Congrats
