What would you suggest replacing the CA Lilac with that would have an evergreen umbrella effect all year around, not over 20-25'. Just in case it cannot recoup.

Hi Janette. We would suggest Arbutus, Manzanita, or another Ceanothus if you wanted to replace your current California Lilac.

I personally have some Manzanitas, they do take a while to grow but are absolutely gourgeous once they get going. Not too sure they will reach that size. Would be best to talk to the store for sure!
