Medicare Advantage plans may cover SilverSneakers. SilverSneakers is considered a basic fitness service and Original Medicare, Part A and Part B, does not cover this benefit. However, Medicare Advantage plans, also known as Medicare Part C, may provide this benefit. Silver Sneakers program offers free healthclub membership for 65+ Seniors ... my area including: Curves, Family YMCA's, LA Fitness, municipal fitness facilities and Anytime Fitness.
About $30 per month for unlimited access to all LA fitness locations. There is an innitiation fee to pay a the beginning but i don't remember how much it was. Hope this helps.
