I called this week of 14th of May, 2018 and was told Cove Inn has been closed for renovation after last year's hurricane. I was informed it might not open until October 2018. But , I see there is a review from January 2018. Was I misinformed?

The hotel is closed, however the Cove Inn diner is not.

Don't go here..it's a construction zone Oct 22nd 2018. Wake you up at 8:00 with Jack hammers. They have no regular coffee for the rooms, the guys at the desk was not at all helpful. We have been hear in the past numerous times before hurricane Irma and it was fine. Either bad management or the owners took the insurance money and ran! Pretty obvious the place should be back to normal more that a year after storm. Something is seriously wrong and suspicious.

It is open. The renovations are on the hotel only. Please fo fo this GREAT restaurant

There is a little breakfast place in the lobby area that is open but hotel was damaged n being redone. So that's probably accurate.

Went there recently for brunch and didn't see any signs saying they would be closing for renovations.

Just stayed there. It is open and very convenient to everything.
