It is an old narrow road and steep road, not designed for modern traffic.
No. Rv's are not allowed on the road up to the top of the volcano, only up to the museum/gift shop/informaton center. There is a nice parking lot for cars and RVs at that building. We were in a 30' RV and parked it wothout a problem in the lot while visiting the info center. It is at the base of the volcano so the view is really nice! Hope this helps.
No...twisty road....you would take up the entire road getting up there then have one hell of a time turning it around to come down .....parking at top no parking for RVs
Road is narrow with sheer drops and no guard raill except on zig zag near top. If you dislike heights do not drive up. Parking at top is limited. Park big rig or trailer at visitor center.
You can park the rv at the bottom of the volcano and walk up to the peak. But definitely dont drive up the side with anything bigger than a lg suv.
I totally wouldn't drive an rv up it. It is narrow.
Probably not, road is narrow, but you can definitely park below. Enjoy it is beautiful.
Definitely not to the top. The roads not wide enough nor the parking lot big enough for an RV. You could park it at the bottom maybe.
No RV up or trailers of any kind. Have to be a car truck or motorcycle type vehicle
Until recently, for an additional fee of $18, they would clear the road to the top. I have driven a 34' class A motor home to the top. The trip is not for the faint of heart. However, they recently changed the policy and the road to the top is now closed to vehicles over 28'(I believe). Check the website to be sure. Checking the website, as of January 1st, the road tothe top is closedtovehicles over 26'.
