Their menu (on the back) lists the place as opening in 2007, the diner itself (diners are typically modular units) was constructed in 1998.
What year...humm, best if one stops by and eats while reading the hysterical on the menu! It's an old original ...no replica of anything

Not sure on date of construction. There used to be pictures hanging up in dinner about construction. I have been stopping to eat there off/on for the past 10 years.
