If your not from around this area, and you don't mind driving a little , Google the town of Esterwood, before you get there you'll get to the Mermentau river, fish there. You could also take a left go over the overpass follow the paved road to the Mermentau there also, just nit sure if its private property back there. Ask for the owner Red Dog or talk to Mark Miller the maintenance guy, they could tell you more. I think the pond may be stocked at the Haven
