When I went like a month ago it was still a mess so I really didn't go too far Into the trail. I will think it will be fine if you take your pet but beware the grass was high and you can't hardly see the trail.

Of course! I have brought my dog here everytime I've been. However, I haven't been down the trail lately. The last time I went it was a bit rough due to fallen trees.
