Anytime 80F or above, that's when they are most active. They don't view is as a food source but dogs are another matter. They are wild, so please do not antagonise.
Everytime i went i saw gators.. except for December .. other than that i saw them.. and good size ones basking on the side of running trails, spooked my fiance, but if you look for them you will find them.. in 11 trips im 10/11 in gator spotting.
Gators almost always observed. Theu are reptiles so motr active in warmer weather. Walking traild around the lakes make for good viewing.
In the summer but you can see them all year long
I've honestly never seen them in cold weather. Summer is your best bet. Lucky that it's summer most of year here lol
Best time is during summer before sunset or early evening. Best place to observe them are from the fishing piers on Hale and 40 acres lake. They come below the piers when people are fishing.
During mating season
They love the sun
Not during the winter
Sunny Winter days and Summer
