Next time you are in the area you really need to go check out Chester Frost Park in Hixon Tn ! Beautiful park with a very large campground and a beautiful white sandy beach with a swimming area! But you can swim from just about anywhere in the park!
No. You can't swim there but this place has breath taking views of the river.
When I went to this beautiful park there are a bunch of awesome piers. I was so dang tempted to swim but I saw a sign saying all the rules. One of the rules said "No Swimming". The park is Gorgeous though!!
