Oficcially dezember and january is the best time to see them there the whole day. 2 weeks before around 1 pm and warm we saw really many many many of them.
I think this time of year since water is warmer they are there, and they surface every 5 minutes or so to breathe. I was there rainy afternoon couple weeks ago and saw plenty of them
Yes they are there not sure about time of day but its the season for them went last week saw them
I have always gone in the afternoon hours. Always saw them.
I was told by the front desk if you're later then 8 you probably won't see them this time of the year.
The water in the park is artificially heated by the electric power plant to about 85 degrees. When the air is cool they are said to gravitate where the warm water is in the park. It's fun looking for them. I was able to see two.
