Only cost is for parking, approximately $2 as I previously posted. Trails are paved and very accessible. If helpful, please hit the Thumbs-up button below. Thanks.
my mom is handicapped and when we went Christmas Eve our parking was free with her handicap sticker. the trails are paved and she was able to navigate them with her walker and we saw several people on scooters and in non electric wheelchairs getting around quite easy. tell your husband that I said thank you for his service! you should check out the military museum of s.w. Florida in Cape Coral on Leonard street.
Most of the path is flat cement very accessible. There is only some minor steps in viewing booth but its not necessary to view. The parking is 2 dollars a hour during weekdays stop in the shop office and ask about parking for vets. The visit is worth it dont miss it especially during winter when manatees are most active.
The trails are 100% handicap accessible. Only cost is $2 for parking. The also have a gift shop
Parking is $2 unless it is a qualifying disability, in which case it is free to park. My wife has a disability but is ambulatory, so we paid the $2 even though we parked in a handicapped space with her placard displayed.
