Would I be able to get it at 15?
Hi, Sarah! We require all minors to come accompanied with a parent or guardian. The state requires a photo ID from you and your guardian. They must have matching last names AND addresses. If they do not match, the state requires you to bring your birth certificate. The piercing starts off at $25 including basic surgical steel jewelry and $40 in titanium jewelry. Please give us a call if you have any more questions!
The law here in VA states that no one under the age of 18 is not allowed to get pierced unless they are with a guardian. It does not state how young the person can be (excerp of the posted beneath). To get a definite answer, give them a call, they are very friendly and helpful. "§ 18.2-371.3. Tattooing or body piercing of minors. No person shall tattoo or perform body piercing for hire or consideration on a person less than eighteen years of age, knowing or having reason to believe such person is less than eighteen years of age except (i) in the presence of the person's parent or guardian, or (ii) when done by or under the supervision of a medical doctor, registered nurse or other medical services personnel licensed pursuant to Title 54.1 in the performance of their duties."
