Is the pier open for fishing? We're staying at Edgewater just down the street and wanted to know if the pier rents poles & bait?

Yes its open 24/7. It is $6 to fish and $3 to go on It. Shoes must be worn or flip flops etc. They sell bait but poles I'm not sure, probably. Wal-Mart sells inexpensive pole and real combo.

Yes it’s open all day & night. Lots of good shark hunting at night, too

Fishing is open 6$ for an all day fishing pass. 3$ for regular attendees. The shop also provides rental rod and reels.
