Officially no...but in Murphy's park it is definitely accepted.
I have drank bottle of champagne with friends and never had a problem. Love the park!
I live in Murphys, though a sign does say no alcohol I have never seen the "no alcohol" rule enforced. Many of the town celebrations have served wine/beer in our park. I believe the "no alcohol" part is there for that small percentage of people who seem to enjoy abusing the tranquility of others.
