Well worth it to have it shipped in the winter for the holidays especially... Best cheese in Wisconsin... I have been in Georgia for decades now and consider it a special treat from home.
My mother did. She would to FL, NC, and VA. I have a daughter in TX that i will be sending to, but haven't yet. We usually buy her 100+ from the store and she puts it in her checked luggage. I know that I have read on their site that they won't ship during certain months because of the heat. Be aware of that.... Im sure the recipient will love it!
