What kind of vet would even suggest that you have your cat declawed just because she has an infection?! They didn't even say anything about giving me antibiotics for her instead they told me about having her declawed!!!! She is 7 years old!

Which vet said this to you? Was it a man or woman? That's about the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time.

I would say you are leaving out some important detail - or else you misunderstood. If it sounds like the vet's solution is wrong - you have a right to ask more questions. You will not learn anything posting questions that don't make sense. The experts are in the veterinarians office not on the Internet.
