According to the MDC webaite camping is allowed. Its primitive camping though, no camp sites, have to break your own, but with hammocks it should be easy peasy.

yes you are allowed to campout overnight there has long as its a primitive campsite. ( hammock camping would be included). You might want to call the Southwest Missouri conservation department and notify them to be on the safe side.
