Cause they are rude individuals. 🤔
I'm assuming from what my uncle in law said that it takes forever to pump fuel into a diesel truck with a sleeper, so I imagine they just start it and get what they need done then come back and it's almost done pumping. Most trucks tanks hold a couple hundred gallons of fuel and even in my Yukon XL Denali from dead empty takes 30 gallons, I'm usually waiting anywhere from 6 to 8 minutes depending on the gas stations pump.
Those are the kind of truck driver a truck driver doesn't need to be.
Something like that I witness yesterday in Mt.Vernon , IL. My thoughts was- maybe he is dead?
Cuz there green horns and they aren't from around here...;-)
There isn't a set rule or guideline to tell truck drivers to move your truck out of the way before you use the facilities. It is a common courtesy. After that being said, my opinion is they do not consider others in their choices.
That is a good question...my suggestion is next time..go inside the store and asking to that driver...It is bad attitude and disrespect to others customers....
