Yes
They prefer you donate your old clothes as it is a pain to get rid of and will damage certain machines. They will tell you this if they see you plan to dump clothing. Old furniture, TV's, scrap metal, tires, batteries, and oil are fine. I'd take the clothing to good will or salvation army.
