No Ma'am there was not. A mill and schoolhouse was ran on the property. The Mascatatuck Mental Hospital was out in Butlerville, IN off of HWY 50. It was closed down renovated then turned into a military training facility.

Muscatatuck describes the area of location and is incorporated into the name of the facility or organization that it serves i.e. Muscatatuck is also a name of a Training Facility and a wildlife refuge which all are in south central Indiana around the Muscatatuck River but all are not the same thing

Rev. Joshua Thomas is right. It technically is part of the park. But the military and some First Responders use it for training now. Spectacular training facility from what I've heard.
