Sunday is suppose to be a day of rest. Back when I was little nothing was open on Sundays.
Because they are not put on this earth to cater to you snowflake
Because the people who work in the mall have lives and families and its nice to see them some times.
They did demographic study to show after 6 pm is not active enough shopping time to stay open.
It can be inconvenient for some people, yes. But most stores in Lincoln close earlier on Sundays.
Many stores still close earlier on Sundays.
