I have absolutely no idea, call IFW to find out or visit their website and click to state parks and see what is presented for information.
It's not a no charge beach. There is a box to place the fee, the honor system. Thanksgiving and Christmas the gates are not opened. You will have to walk in.
The park is open in the off season, after labor day, but without regular staff and fees are done thru honor box. Dawn to dusk I believe.
Im sure it is. It is a public, open, no-charge beach. The Fort might be fenced and closed that day and the restaurant might be closed but im positive the beach is open.
