Will the park reopen on October 8th 2021? I Went passed today to find all the gates closed and locked. Wasn't sure if it was due to the rain or what? But before I make the long drive there I figured maybe someone could fill me in on the reopening?!

The campground closes October 31. Gates and bathrooms are currently closed overnight and sometimes during the week according to staffing. Otherwise, the park will be open all year round from 6a-10p. When the flushing toilets close, a portable toilet should replace them. You are also always welcome to walk past those closed gates if you are inquiring about the ones at the shelters

I believe it closes for the winter October 15th for camping and won't open till spring but I'm sure the biking/ walking trails will be open
